When can I pick up my order?

We’ll send you an email when your order is ready for pickup! Most orders will be ready for same-day pickup. If your order is placed two hours prior to store closing, it may not be ready for pickup until the next business day.

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my order?

You must bring a form of photo ID and your order confirmation email when you pick up your order.

What if I can’t pick up my order today? Can you hold it?

Can’t make it in today? No problem. Your order will be held for 7 days after you place your order. After 7 days, the order will be canceled and the items put back in the store. Keep in mind, rue21 will not charge you until you pick up your order, but your financial institution may place a hold on your account.

Can I have someone else pick up my order?

Yep. You can add one additional name to your pickup order at checkout. That person must bring a form of photo ID and the order confirmation email with them when they pick up your order.

When do you charge my payment method?

Your financial institution may place a hold on your account for the total amount of your purchase once you complete your order. Your payment method will be charged by rue21 when you pick up your order from the store.

Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?

Oops. I forgot to pick up my order. What happens now?

If you miss the 7-day hold, your order will automatically be canceled and removed from the pickup rack.

Can my Buy Online, Pick up In-Store order be returned at the store?

Sure can. You can return item(s) to us as long as it meets our return policy. Buy Online, Pick up In-Store returns must be made in-store.

Where do I go when I get to the store to pick up my order?

Let an associate know you're there to pick up your order. Then show your ID and order confirmation email to complete your pickup.

What is the Buy Online, Pickup In-Store return policy? 

Buy online, pick-up in-store (BOPIS) order returns are accepted at rue21 stores in their original condition within 60 days of purchase for a full refund, exchange, or merchandise credit.To find a rue21 store near you, visit rue21.com.

To obtain a full refund, you must present proof of purchase to the store Associate processing your return, such as the original packing slip or your order confirmation e-mail.You will be refunded based on the manner in which the original purchase was made. If you made your original purchase by credit card, please bring that credit card with you to the store.

Returns without proof of purchase will be issued a merchandise credit or offered an exchange for the current selling price of the item(s).

Can I return my Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store through the mail? 

rue21 is unable to accept Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store order returns via mail.

Why can’t I ship my order? 

Home delivery is not currently offered on rue21.com. In the meantime, get your online order faster with Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store. 

When will I be able to ship my order again? 

While we’re working to improve your online shopping experience, rue21 does not offer home delivery. Skip the lines with same-day pickup to get your order faster! Sign up for rue21 emails for updates.

How can I shop rue21 if there isn’t a store near me? 

Currently, rue21 store locations and Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store are the only available ways to shop.
