rueRoad Trip: Los Angeles

California dreamin’!

Last week, we took a trip to the sunny west coast. There was food, fun and a movie premiere, and we definitely left with a few new celeb crushes. LA is so fun, but can be overwhelming; there is so much to do and see! Consider this your official guide for those can’t miss LA spots. We also have exclusive behind the scenes looks at our time at the Before I Fall premiere, in theaters now!

Can’t Miss Food: Mel’s Drive-In

Mel’s Drive-In is a classic 1950’s style diner, open 24 hours a day. It has great food and even better milkshakes (if you’re stuffed— get ‘em to go!). This is a must stop that is located on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of West Hollywood. Our menu favorite? The chili dog.

Can’t Miss Views: Newport Beach

If you’re looking to get out of the heart of the city, and want a scenic drive, jump on the Pacific Coast Highway and enjoy the amazing views up to Newport or Laguna Beach area. The ocean views will give you major feels, seriously.

Can’t Miss Movie: Before I Fall

While in LA, we attended the movie premiere for Before I Fall. This film stars Zoey Deutch as Sam, the girl who goes from having it all to having no future at all. Having to relive the same day over and over, making her question everything up until that day.

The red carpet was star-studded from start to finish. Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Elena Kampouris and Chloe Grace Mortez are just a few of the many that came out to walk the red carpet and see the new movie. Check out the full red carpet experience here!

This movie is a must-see, and is in theaters NOW!

P.S.— bring tissues.
