What’s up rue friends?
Can you believe the 4th of July is next weekend? I am going away for a long weekend with friends and family, I am SOOO excited!

Now that I have something to do for the holiday weekend, it’s time for me to shop till I drop at rue!

They have a huge sale going on right now too, so that’s a bonus! I am definitely shopping for some new shorts, tanks, flip flops and maybe a screen tee or 2. I think I might try to drag my brother with me. He is in need of a fashion update and what better place to take him than rue? The guys clothing is awesome. They have so many plaid shorts, jeans, really cool tees and button downs. I don’t think we will have any problems getting outfits for the entire weekend!

What’s up rue friends?

They always say what goes around, comes around and guess what?? The 60’s/ 70’s are BACK!! The peace signs and tye dye trends are making a huge statement at rue21 right now! They are rockin’ it out in tees, hoodies, flip flops and even jewelry (everything a girl wants)! Pick out your favorite bright colored peace sign or tye dyed tees and pair it up with the wide variety of denim shorts rue21 has. They have a ton of different denim short styles; they even have shorts in bright yellow, pink, and green. I am telling you…rue21 is where it’s at!

Shopping Weekend - Friday, May 30, 2008

What’s up rue friends?
How was your long holiday weekend? Mine was awesome and I have to tell you all about it.

My girlfriends and I started the weekend out by SHOPPING!!! If you didn’t make it to the shops, you totally missed out. The sales were beyond amazing! We were on a mission to get stocked up for this summer and man did we! So of course we went to my favorite store rue21, and really went shopping crazy. I got 4 pairs of shorts, 10 different tops (yea 10!) 3 pairs of flip flops, their new fragrance called revert and soooo much more. Everything was super cute!

After a full day of shopping with my girls, it was time to go from picnic to picnic with my family and friends. Of course, since I had a new wardrobe I got to wear something different each day! I got a ton of compliments on my new outfits! I love getting compliments on my clothes…doesn’t it just make you feel good?

Prom Party Time - Friday, May 9, 2008

What’s up rue friends?
With prom season going on right now, there are tons of fashion trends emerging from the high school prom walks all the way to the after prom parties.

Last weekend I went shopping with my roommate and her little sister for her after prom parties. I remember going to my prom parties, and man did I have fun!

So, we started the whole ‘prom’ weekend by going shopping (at rue obviously) and picking out two awesome outfits for her. She is just like me and couldn’t go to rue and buy just one outfit; I mean you know how that works!

While we were shopping I bought these adorable jean shorts with big buttons on them and the cutest tye dyed tank top. Then I bought a pair of striped Capri’s and matched it up with a two cami’s for a layered look! All together, everything we picked out was a hit!

Going green seems to be the way to go today when it comes to anything we do.

What's up rue friends? Did you know rue21 has 6 exclusive fragrances?
They seriously have one for everyone!

The newest Girl's fragrance is tarea, which is in this adorable bottle with a little black bow. It is totally precious!! Then they have rue for girl's which reminds me of the sporty, active girl...someone with a lot of energy! Then there's Sparkle. Sparkle is fun because you can buy it with or without glitter in it. So if you want to be fun and flirty, this may be the scent for you!

Guy's have new cologne too, it's called CJ BLACK. What's up rue friends? Did you get a chance to check out rue's new website...it ROCKS! That's not the only thing rocking at rue!

Girls, you HAVE to check out all the banded bottom tops. They have them in all types of patterns, a wide variety of solid colors and some even have a key hole back. They are the MUST HAVE body style. Not to mention, rue21 is making a 'girly' statement with different details such as buttons, ruffles and smocking. In addition to all the great tops, they have some of the cutest plaid and bright colored shorts and skirts. It sounds like they have some great items this spring.

Guys, it's all about the NEW printed crew tees. They are awesome and rue has them in multiple colors and patterns. If you like the surfer look, you'll love the new mesh muscle jersey - perfect for going out or for playing a game of pick-up basketball! Oh...and those patchwork plaid bottoms will be sticking around for a while, so get yourself a pair! Plus, I have to tell you, this season is about color...so don't be afraid to get some bright polo's with color!
